Privacy Policy
SkyNet Social Networks, LLC
Effective Date: November 21, 2025
SkyNet Social Networks, LLC ("SkyNet," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information collection, use, and disclosure in connection with our decentralized social networking platform and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. We Do Not Collect, Store, or Share Personal Data
SkyNet is designed from the ground up to be privacy-first and fully decentralized.
We do not collect, store, process, or share any personal information or personal data about you, including but not limited to:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses
- IP addresses (we do not log or store them)
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or cookies
- Location data
- Browsing history, usage data, or analytics
- Social connections, posts, messages, or any user-generated content (all content is stored exclusively on your device or on decentralized nodes you control)
- Any other information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with you
Because the Service operates in a fully peer-to-peer and/or client-side manner, all data remains under your exclusive control on your own device(s) or on decentralized storage you personally manage. SkyNet servers (if any are used transiently for signaling or coordination) do not retain any user data after the connection is terminated.
2. Information We Never Receive
- No account registration is required or possible on our central servers
- No authentication data is transmitted to or stored by us
- No metadata about your connections or activity is collected
- No analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers are embedded in the Service
3. Third-Party Services and Decentralized Nodes
The Service may allow you to connect directly to third-party nodes, relays, or storage providers that you choose. These are not operated by SkyNet. Any information you voluntarily store or transmit through those third parties is governed by their respective privacy policies, not this one. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the privacy practices of any third-party services or decentralized infrastructure you elect to use.
4. Children’s Privacy
Because we do not collect any personal information whatsoever, our Service is compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The Service is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may use the Service consistent with applicable law.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above.
6. Contact Us
